This image was taken on 5x4 film using a 5x4 camera. To determine the amount of light I had, I used a light meter. The amount of light on the background was 5.6. The light on the subject was 6.7 the amount of light on the subject should always be slightly more than the background as ifs the key point of the image. As I was using Fuji tungsten I didn't need to worry about the flash. For this shoot my ISO was on 64, the shutter speed was on 1/4th of a second and the aperture was Fstop 6. I took one shoot of this set up.

The image below demonstrates my set up as i am having trouble uploading the final image. In the final image the composition is more straight on and the light meter is not blown out.

Beauty Photography

This shoot was done in a studio set up with artificial lighting. It was taken using my Nikon D3000. We had the choice of a variety of props. I was eager to use the winter themed items including woolly clothing and fake ice cubes. I found this shoot enjoyable as i much prefer portraiture.

Landscape Photography

These landscape images were taken whilst on a college trip to Wales. They were taken using my Nikon D3000 without flash as I wanted to keep to the idea of them being as natural as possible.

Street Photography

For my street photography I decided on photographing people around the community earning/ collecting money, whether it be busking, people at stalls or charity collectors. The images were taken around Coventry city center and Birmingham. I originally tried these images on 35mm film however after development and printing i noticed the lighting was far too harsh and i had no detail within the images. I then scanned the images onto the mac and edited using photoshop.
